Climbing Pont-à-Lesse

Rock climbing weekend at Pont-à-Lesse, also known as Rochers du Castel / Anseremme; near Dinant (Ardennes, Belgium). Just around the corner of Belgium’s most popular climbing-aera “Freyr” but more quiet.

Finishing someone else’s route to hang and clip the last two draws.

The way up wasn’t so easy as I thought.

Almost there.

Climbing high above the last runner.

OK! finished….a nice tick…

Funny masks crawling on the wall.

“Forced into a corner”; smearing is not my specialty.

Henri climbing the same route.

Let’s have a look.

I’m all ready for action.

Trying to get a grip somewhere.

Made it….
This picture is a screenshot of Henri’s fantastic 360° panorama photo. You can see this panorama here at http://www.lookaround.be/pontalesse/ (choose fullscreen).

The skyline of Dinant with it’s Citadel on the rocks and the Cathedral of Notre Dame.
