Climbing Holiday Italy, summer 2007 and 2008

The climbing-area around Nago has a fantastic view at lake Garda.

View from one of the climbing area’s around Arco.

Nago hosts almost 120 routes from 4c to 7c; all are long and technical and climb the steep vertical limestone slabs.

Hungry cat in Muro dell’ Asino.

Muro dell’ Asino: a pleasant morning crag that is less polished than other crags in the region

5B++++: 6A or 6B in Nago.

Last route of the holdiday (2008)

Can’t do it without climbing chalk……

The plates in Baone near Arco, Italy.

Clipping in Massone.

At the cracks of Val Algone.

Multipitch at Niere / Col del Frate

Tough start (Muro Dell’ Asino).

Annoek did some climbing too.

70m. rope necessary…..

Massone is effectively 3 separate crags within a short walking distance of each other and is the most famous crag in the region.

Get down Roedi….

Huge step! Massone.
